“….with Dropps, dishwashing is about as eco-friendly as it can get.”

— Lauren Steele, Contributor - Fast Company

WHO: Dropps (Client)

WHAT: An on-going scope of work including media strategy, creative direction, press relations, and account management.

WHERE: Philadelphia, PA

WHEN: February 2019 - Present

WHY: To align Dropps within the growing eco-conscious lifestyle conversation, while clearly positioning the company as a legacy brand that has had sustainability at its core long before it became “trendy” to do so.

“Color doesn’t clean, which is why we got rid of it.”

— Jonathan Propper, Founder and CEO of Dropps

HOW: In the past, Dropps has utilized several external partners to help share their story with limited success. We established a working relationship by bringing majority of those external communications in-house.

Immediately, the rate of earned media grew — doubling the amount of press placements from the previous year within the first three months of the relationship!

As recent climate events keep sustainability top of mind for most, Dropps continues to garner earned press coverage from both a product and brand lens, utilizing a variety of strategic communications, with an emphasis on experiences and thought-leadership.

Moving forward, the goal is to continue to differentiate Dropps from the growing number of competitors entering the market, while shifting the conversation of plastic-waste being solely a consumer issue, to one that is of equal fault to industries. Thus, advocating for the consumer and creating a customer for life.

RESULTS: The wheel keeps turning for Dropps. Press coverage so far in our working relationship includes — Real Simple, Philadelphia Magazine, Fast Company, GOOD Magazine, The Bump, Refinery29, Remodelista, The Dieline, Business Insider, People Magazine, Bustle, The Strategist, Inhabitat, and countless others.
